That s good you re starting a donation drive for clothes since I have a lot of clothes that I can donate to the earthquake stricken country. Where can I send my donations and is there a limit on how many clothes I could donate I would love to donate my old t shirts pants shorts and maybe other essentials that can be worn by teenagers and young men. I will be sending my donations from CA just to let you know.

hi my name is taylor rice. i am from wakefield marenisco high school. we are having a clothes drive to donate to good will etc. but what we really would like to do is donate our clothes and goods to Haiti families. my question is how do we begin to do this. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE LOGISTIC TO DISTRIBUTE ITEMS OF CLOTHING NOW AND NEED MONEY. YOU CAN DONATE TO THE RED CROSS THE SALVATION ARMY OR YELE WYCLEF S ORGANIZATION . IF YOU DONATE CLOTHES TO THE SALVATION ARMY IT WILL SELL IT AND USE THE MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE. HAITI NEEDS MONEY FOR WATER FOOD AND MEDICAL CARE. THE CLOTHES WILL COME AFTER AND THEY ALSO NEED TO BUY FUEL TO OPERATE THEIR MACHINERIES. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LITTLE AIRPORT WHICH IS BARELY FUNCTIONNING AND THE ROADS ARE BLOC

Folks I m still scouring the internet trying to find ways to donate clothes directly to Haiti. So far the best I can come up with is donating to the Salvation Army they accept clothes donations though I cannot personally gaurantee the clothes you donate will end up in Haiti perhaps they will. That s a question you could ask of them but they are responding directly to the disaster. Also found a 2008 article that says Haiti will NOT need
