Three tremors hit the st. marc area earlier this week where I was woken up by 3 glasses crashing to the floor around 4 am. I was told that morning that a 4.0 quake hit deep underground and up the coast. that makes three this week with more expected to follow. back in the usa now I am stunned to find no such information in the news if anyone is looking for a place to volunteer anything at all please go to legoane west of pap which is in terrible shape far worse than port au prince... Four young haitian women and three young men ages 16 28 deliver daily hot meals to port au prince patients treated in saint marc. these seven young people are onebigboost ayiti a us based group carried by private donations from friends and families. daily their team begins to cook early in the morning and close to noon huge pots of soup beans rice fresh cut vegetables are loaded into a car and gently driven to nearby hopital saint nicolas. the food is distributed to those who often have... Pastor Blanc is My uncle and I ve talked to him since after the Earthquate. The communication was not that great nonetheless he si ok.

There are still many seriously injured people in the hosp in St. Marc wounds fractures amputees fractures that are not being operated on. I just returned and we provided a hot meal a day for PaP people specifically since they do not have resources. At this time it is the refugees in the tent cities and on the sidewalks of SMarc who need help

Ask anyone particularly now where Haiti s problem is and the answer is inevitably The Government followed by what could WE do We have no power over them The aid from so many from all nations and all sources leaves the Haitians awestruck. However their question intensifies where is OUR government and particularly watch what they are going to do with all the money all these countries are giving them And time has shown how right they are. They do not have much hope.
